30 Bird is recruiting a part time Temporary freelance Assistant Producer to support the delivery of JUNCTURES: UK Iran Cultural Exchange on 25 March 2015. Starting as soon as possible and ending in April 2015.
30 Bird creates award winning multi-disciplinary performance work, often designed for non-theatrical spaces touring nationally and internationally. The Company works with practitioners from a variety of disciplines: architecture, science, the visual arts, dance, music, theatre and film creating unique experiences for audiences. The work has an international flavour, collaborating with artists and practitioners from as varied a background as the UK, Iran, Germany, Italy, Poland, India and Turkey.
JUNCTURES is a day of provocations and debate exploring innovation and experimentation across the Arts and Sciences and across UK and Iran. The symposium will feature Peachy Coochy’s, discussions and finish with The Long Table and dinner “Working across cultures and across disciplines – can we find a common language?”. Produced by 30 Bird in partnership with the British Council and in collaboration with Zendeh. Supported by Cambridge Junction and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
