artist panels from caravan training 2019
The last series of caravan training sessions took place in Bristol, London and Sheffield. At each location, we assembled a panel of established UK artists who have worked internationally to share their expertise and any pitfalls to avoid. The panel of artists, facilitated by caravan mentor Gary Hills, discussed their approach to working internationally and what they consider when making work for an international audience. The recordings of these sessions from the Sheffield and London days are available on our Soundcloud and below.
The voices on the London recording are Paul Clark, co-artistic director of Clod Ensemble, Jenny Sealey, CEO of Graeae Theatre, independent Theatre Maker Greg Wohead, and Jo Crowley, independent producer and Executive Director of 1927 theatre company.
The voices on the Sheffield recording are Rachael Walton and Alex Kelly, co-artistic directors of Third Angel, independent Theatre Maker Selina Thompson, Richard Gregory, Artistic Director of Quarantine, and Eileen Evans, producer for Forced Entertainment.
