caravan showcase 2018
13 – 15 May 2018
The caravan showcase is an informal three day event taking place in Brighton Festival which will introduce a selected group of England’s brightest performance companies, to festival organisers and programmers from around the world; with the ambition of developing new partnerships, collaborations and ways of working.
The caravan marketplace is an opportunity for artists and companies to host a stand and to share information about current or future projects with approximately 60 national and international delegates. We are currently accepting applications to be part of the caravan marketplace. Please submit your application before 02 February 2018.
The programme currently includes:
Bertrand Lesca & Nasi Voutsas’ Edinburgh Festival hit Palmyra, new work from Victoria Melody, Stopgap Dance Company and Vic Llewellyn & Kid Carpet, alongside work from Gobbledegook Theatre, Milk Presents, Third Angel and Ursula Martinez.
Introductions and pitches
Anna Beecher & Rachel Lincoln, Jo Bannon, Rachel Mars & Greg Wohead, Still House, Jackie Hagan and Sleepdogs.
We are currently seeking interest from international programmers, festival organisers and potential co-producers who would like to attend this three day showcase. We are hoping to support up to 60 delegates to attend.
